This is part of a project I photographed for the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey which owned the World Trade Center. I thought, in light of our tragic loss on September 11th 2001, which I witnessed, I would resurrect some of the photos and share them with you. The buildings, while not the most beautiful architectural statements the city had to offer, provided juxtapositions with the city like no other buildings. They were never far from our sight ... and now our thoughts.
